How our offline tech works for your team.

Emergencies happen in all types of environments with varying levels of cellular service; this was one of the primary drivers for our response app. When building the application, we ensured that it would work in low-coverage and offline environments, as per our clients’ varying needs. 

You might think, how can we do this? How can you be online, while offline? We have all been there, small towns, back roads, remote areas. 

Well, it’s simple. 

We cache the documents and directory to the device when you first sign on to the app. This allows you to access documents and the directory when you are offline or in low-coverage areas. 

Documents are accessible offline – no matter where you may be. Your most current documents (that are made available from the dashboard) can be accessed in the offline mode. Meaning the last document saved is the most recent version before going into offline mode when you were last logged into the app. This also means, the more frequent you access the app, the better as you will always be up-to-date with your documents. 

All of your important contacts will also be accessible offline, so you can stay connected no matter where you are, or what the circumstance. At this time, just like regular cell use, you are not able to make phone calls offline, but as soon as you regain service you can connect with your team or emergency services in your directory. 

Our chat is partially functional offline. For obvious reasons, you can’t get notifications and messages when you are offline. However, all of the previous chat messages are cached and you can see the previous conversations. As well, if you send a chat message when you are offline, the application will keep trying to send the message until it is delivered. 

Have wifi but no connection? No problem, our core features all work fully on wifi. With the only exception is your ability to make phone calls.
